Galeano is born in Honduras, from a family business dedicated to the clothing and textiles industry for over 25 years. But it was in 2008 that the young Daniel and Francisco started offering their designs under the Galeano brand. Back then we experimented with different types of clothing, but it wasn’t until 2009 that our t-shirt designs became popular. The first 120 Galeano T-Shirts we available at RNR13.

After the political situation in 2009, we launched our “Made in Honduras” collection, which included elements such as Mayan symbols and indigenous textiles. There was one design that stood out from this collection, and would eventually become an Icon of the Galeano brand: The first Lempira T-Shirt.

2010 & 2011

In 2010 we launched the “Siete | Tres” collection, inspired in the styles of the 1930’s and 1970’s. This was when we made the first Galeano Suits. This was also the year when we started creating designs with patriotic elements. We still didn’t have a Galeano store, but you could find our stuff at a store called Mute in Novacentro en Tegucigalpa.

2012 y 2013

This is when we opened the first Galeano Stores in Tegucigalpa and San Pedro Sula, and with them we started the Lempira Project. We were inspired by the “One to One” model, where with the purchase of an article you donate a similar one to a person in need. But instead of donating a t-shirt, we’re giving one week of food to someone living in extreme poverty.

2014 y 2015

2014 was the year we opened our second store in Tegucigalpa, along with the first Galeano Café, both in the new Galeano Building, in Colonia Palmira. In 2015 we opened our store in the Toncontin International Airport in Tegucigalpa.

Les than two years after opening the first Galeano Café we proudly opened both Galeano Store and Galeano Café in Mall Multiplaza in Tegucigalpa.
